INDOCTRINATOR IN CHIEF?

Pres. Barack Obama was slated to deliver a speech to America’s school children Tuesday.

The White House has dubbed it a “national address to the nation’s students.” Critics say Pres. Obama will use his time to indoctrinate America’s youth.

In Granton, teachers will be allowed to air the speech, if they choose, but parents will be alerted. Children will be dismissed if parents don’t feel it’s appropriate.

Both Neillsville and Greenwood plan to record the speech. The administration will review its contents and make a decision from there.

The White House released the text of the speech Monday. Reviewers say it isn’t much more than a pep talk to students, much like a similar speech given by Pres. George W. Bush back in 2001.
