NEILLSVILLE UPSETS FALL CREEK

The Neillsville Warrior football team upset Fall Creek last night in Fall Creek 14-12. Neillsville gained 170 yards on the ground, unoffically, led by Deslyn O'Connell with 17 carries for 61 yds a touchdown. Cain Trunkel was 4 for 7 through the air for 78 yds and a touchdown pass to Josh Seyfert. Fall Creek scored with just over 4 minutes left and could have tied the score at 14 but missed the 2 pt. conversion. The Crickets drove down the field late in the game but a dropped pass in the end zone on 4th down with 48 seconds left allowed Neillsville to run out the clock and come away with the win.
