INCOME TAX = 3% OF INCOME IN WISCONSIN

A new Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance report finds Wisconsin income tax accounted for 3.3% of personal income in 2007.
That's the 10th highest percentage in the nation.
Wisconsin income taxes averaged $1,137 per person. That's higher than all neighboring states except Minnesota.
The report also shows that in 2007, nearly 44% of all state tax revenue came from the income tax.
