BIG TEN WOMENS BASKETBALL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

The Big Ten Conference officially released its 2009-10 women’s basketball schedule Tuesday along with this year’s Big Ten Network lineup. The Badgers play four games on the network this season, including one non-conference game (Green Bay) and three Big Ten games. The Badgers open the Big Ten schedule on the BTN when they travel to Columbus, Ohio, on Dec. 6 for a 1 p.m. game against defending Big Ten champions Ohio State. The first conference game in the Kohl Center this year is Dec. 28 when Michigan State comes to town. Wisconsin’s games against Purdue (Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m.) and Northwestern (Jan. 31 at 4 p.m.) will be broadcast on the BTN. A complete schedule can be found at uwbadgers.com
