ONE-VEHICLE CRASH CLAIMS LIFE

A traffic accident between Mead Lake and Greenwood took one life Sunday.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the one-vehicle rollover. It happened on Sterling Avenue, just north of Century Road, in the Town of Mead. It was reported at around 5 p.m.
According to initial reports, the vehicle was traveling north on Sterling Avenue when the driver lost control. It hit a ditch and culvert. One person was thrown from the vehicle and killed instantly.
A second person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
