BIG TEN MENS BASKETBALL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

The Big Ten announced the 2009-10 men’s basketball conference schedule on
Wednesday. All 18 games of UW’s Big Ten schedule will be televised to a national audience. Wisconsin will play at least four games on ESPN or ESPN2, one on CBS (at Michigan Feb. 6) and will appear on the Big Ten Network 12 times. Wisconsin will open the Big Ten schedule at home for the first time in three seasons. The Badgers have won six consecutive Big Ten openers and 10 straight conference home openers. The Badgers face Ohio State to open the this years Big Ten slate on New Years Eve at 1pm at the Kohl Center on ESPN 2. Wisconsin hasn’t opened vs. Ohio State since 1978.
