LOYAL MAN CHARGED IN BABY'S DEATH

A 49-year-old Loyal man is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle after he rear-ended a buggy Wednesday in Marshfield.
A six-week old baby died in the accident.
Brian Witkus of Loyal is scheduled to make an initial appearance Thursday in Marathon County Circuit Court on a charge of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
The crash occurred at about 4:50 p.m. on East McMillan Street near St. Joseph’s Avenue.
