MAN KILLED IN FARM MISHAP

A man is dead after a farm mishap near Arcadia.
According to a press release from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, the man was apparently loading round bales on a trailer when the trailer began rolling away. The man tried to stop it, but became pinned underneath.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred on Filla Rd. in the Township of Arcadia.
The victim’s name is not being released, pending notification of relatives.
