36th ANNUAL NEILLSVILLE MEN'S INVITATIONAL THIS WEEKEND

The 36th Neillsville Men's Invitational is coming this weekend to the Neillsville Golf Course. The Invitational is a two-man best ball format. Golfers will have practice rounds on Friday with play to begin Saturday morning. There are 6 flights - (based on handicaps)- Championship and First thru Fifth Flights, in which golfers are competing in with the Championship Flight comprised of the best of the best. Last year the two-man team of Ryan Hediger and Tom McHale won the Championship Flight with a two day score of 131. The team of Tim Brussow and Jordon Brussow won First Flight with 138. In Second Flight it was the team of Scott Solberg and Todd Krehmeyer taking top honors with 151. Third Flight went to the team of Scott and Luke Schmidt who shot 155. Fourth Flight was won by Bruce Rayhorn and Al Roder with 152 and in Fifth Flight the team of Ted Brussow and Tony Wilke took first at 166. Also last year three holes-in-one were scored - Scott Schmidt on #16, Brad Lindner #7 and John Brekke #5.
