BUCKY BADGER AT 2009 CELEBRITY MASCOT GAMES

Wisconsin’s loveable mascot, Bucky Badger, has been selected for the 2009 Annual Celebrity Mascot Games hosted by the Central Florida Sports Commission to benefit New Hope For Kids. This annual event occurs this Thursday thru Saturday at the Amway Arena and Stetson University in Orlando, Florida. Bucky is one of 27 professional and college mascots attending this 17th annual event. Also attending from the Big Ten are Purdue Pete, Iowa's Herkey the Hawk and Goldy Gopher from Minnesota. The Celebrity Mascot Games generate funds for New Hope charity programming. Events taking place at Amway Arena include: Eliminator, Hit ‘N Run, Assault, Powerball, and Joust. The Stetson University site will have Mechanical Bull, Dodgeball, Joust, and Musical Chairs.
