EXPRESS SPLIT SERIES WITH MANKATO

After snapping a seven game losing streak and starting a two game winning streak, the Express lost to the Mankato MoonDogs Saturday night 9-8. Andy Leonard (UIC) led the Express offense with three hits on the night. Nolan Fadness (UW-Oshkosh), Nate Baumann (Augustana) and Matt Fritz (Bradley) all had two hits on the night. Today is the final day of a brutal seven day, seven game road trip for the Express. They will take on the La Crosse Loggers at 5:05 p.m. They return home finally on Monday to once again take on the Loggers. Monday’s game then begins a five day, five game home stand.
