CHAPARRALS WIN IN 14

The Marshfield Chaparrals beat the Merrill Rangers 7-6 in 14 innings of a baseball last night at Jack Hackman Field in Marshfield. Reserve catcher Trevin Szulczewski hit a fly ball to deep center field to score Sam Schwanebeck with the winning run in the bottom of the 14th inning. Eric Priztl got the win, Nick Grunenwald took the loss. Chuck Brehm, Ryan Hiller and Brad Grube each had two hits for the Chaparrals.
