SUDER: STATE SHOULD ALLOW LARGER ATVS

An area state representative wants larger ATVs to ride state trails.
Rep. Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford) is introducing a bill he says will modernize the legal definition of an ATV to allow newer, larger models to access state trails.
He says the popular machines have gotten bigger, but state law hasn’t changed with the times and now newer model machines with larger tires and frames aren’t eligible to ride on the trails. The bill is supported by the Wisconsin ATV Association and a number of local ATV dealers, groups, and enthusiasts.
