CHAPPARRALS DOWN THE MERCHANTS

The Marshfield Chapparrals were victorious last night, downing the Everest Merchants 6-5 at Jack Hackman Field in Marshfield. Kyle Schicker picked up the win, Matt Witter took the loss. John Safford was 2 for 5 with a couple of RBI's for the Chapparrals, Brandon Scheidler was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, a triple and an RBI for the Merchants. Both teams left 11 runners on base. Marshfield improved to 7-4 with the win.
