EXPRESS WIN SOUTH DIVISION

The Eau Claire Express have won the South Division for the first half of Northwoods League play with a 10-2 win over Green Bay last night. Eau Claire came into last nights game needing to win 2 of their last 5 games of the first half and they needed Battle Creek and Madison to lose as well. Last night it all came together as the Express won and both Battle Creek and Madison lost, so Eau Claire wins the first half title in the South Division. The Mankato Moondogs, who lead the North Division, are into Carson Park for a two game series starting tonight.
