LIGHTNING STRIKE (?) CAUSES FIRE

The Neillsville Fire Department was called to the scene of a tree fire last night at 6:28 p.m.
It happened at N4801 Grand Ave., Lot 2 in the Town of Pine Valley.
Fire Chief Matt Meyer tells us lightning apparently struck a large pine tree, which toppled onto a camper.
The crew spent about one-half hour on the scene.
