STATE SENATE TO TAKE UP BUDGET

Some of the changes Assembly Democrats made to Gov. Jim Doyle's budget will likely get reversed when the Senate takes up the bill Wednesday.
Senate Dems discussed the 2-year, $62-billion plan closed session Monday and Tuesday.
A Senate committee has announced the budget will be debated Wednesday.
Senate leaders have voiced opposition to Assembly changes affecting gas taxes and liability laws.
