A 40-year-old Marshfield man is lucky to be alive after he was trampled at a horse pull Sunday.

According to the Marshfield NewsHerald, Ken Hill was competing in the Arpin Horse Pull yesterday. He was preparing two Belgians to pull 6,100 pounds of mud bricks.

According to the report, the evener connecting the two horses failed. One horse ran to an open field while the other pulled Hill underneath.

Hill suffered a broken leg, but is said to be doing all right.
