INFORMATIONAL MEETING FOR WEATHER SHIELD WORKERS

The Clark County Job Center wants Weather Shield workers to know about an upcoming event.
Jody Connor with the Job Center says the state’s dislocated worker program will hold an informational meeting at Weather Shield in Greenwood next Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
Connor says there will be information about career planning, training, job searches and support services, plus, a representative from Unemployment will be on hand.
Weather Shield recently announced plans to close their Greenwood plant, beginning this July. Around 200 workers will be forced to take positions at the company’s Mosinee plant, or look for work elsewhere.
