MORE LAYOFFS AT CUMMINS

 Neillsville’s plant has been spared in the latest round of Cummins Filtration layoffs.
Cummins said yesterday it has laid off 127 workers at plants in Bloomer, Black River Falls and Viroqua.
Cummins says all the plants make filtration products for the automobile industry and the economy has created a drop in demand.
In January, Cummins laid off 30 Neillsville workers.
