WOOD CO. WORKER DIES AFTER FALL INTO LAKE

A Wood County worker has died after falling into the frigid waters of Lake Dexter, south of Pittsville.
Authorities say Rick Zorman, 52 of Pittsville, was performing maintenance work on a dam when he fell into the water Wednesday afternoon.
Sheriff's Sgt. John Hiller says the incident was reported at around 4:30 p.m. when a second worker drove by and became concerned when he didn't see the man anywhere near his truck.
Hiller says the man may have been in the frigid water for up to an hour before his body was discovered.
