"WISH LIST" SHORT ON AREA PROJECTS

A $3.7-billion “wish list” of state transportation projects that could be completed with federal stimulus payments, shows very few in our area.
The document developed by the Wisconsin DOT, and posted on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s website, shows no highway projects specifically for Clark County.
The only projects close to our area our maintenance to STH 13 from Marshfield to Pittsville and STH 73 from Pittsville to Neillsville.
The document is labeled “Confidential.”
President-elect Barack Obama has been laying out his ideas for stimulus this week. It remains unclear how much money will be available for infrastructure projects.
