CLOSING NOT ON HARDEE'S MENU

The abrupt closing of four Hardee’s restaurants in the region might have you wondering how Neillsville’s Hardee’s is doing.
Mary Williams of Cougar Enterprises, which owns Hardee’s restaurants in Neillsville, Colby and Medford, says they aren’t connected to the restaurants in Wisconsin Rapids, Schofield and Minoqua, which closed this week.
But Williams jokes they will close next Tuesday—but, only to install new cash registers.
Hardees has been in Neillsville since the mid 1980s. They currently employ around 30 area residents.
