WELL-KNOWN PHILANTHROPIST DIES

A man known for his generous donations to the Black River Falls area has passed away.
88-year-old Milt Lunda owned Lunda Construction Company.
Lunda’s donations made numerous projects possible, including the Lunda Center and the Lunda Community Park. Milt also donated to more than 40 scholarships every year in the arts, health, and education fields.
Recently, the Lunda Charitable Trust donated $100,000 to install a new chairlift at Bruce Mound. That project is still in progress.
