SIDIE BACK IN COURT

A Hatfield man accused of murdering his ex-wife was back in Jackson County Court Monday.
Authorities say 39-year-old Douglas Sidie shot 27-year-old Alisha Sidie outside their Hatfield home on November 7th, and then allowed a search for the woman to proceed for about a week before investigators broke the case.
No pleas were entered during the initial appearance.
Sidie has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse and eight counts of obstructing an officer.
The two had divorced in September 2007 but were reconciling and still shared the house along with their 2-year-old twin sons.
A preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. Dec. 17. Sidie is being held without bail at the Jackson County Jail.
