BODY FOUND NEAR FOND DU LAC STILL A MYSTERY

The discovery of a body by hunters Nov. 23 in Fond du Lac County has generated interest among law enforcement agencies trying to see whether there is a match to any of their missing-person reports, but the identity of the young woman or teenage girl has not been determined.
Fond du Lac County authorities said at least 18 investigative agencies have contacted the department about the discovery.
The body was found in a creek in the Town of Ashford about 17 miles south of Fond du Lac. Sheriff Mick Fink said it had probably been there for several months.
