JUDGE LEAVING SIDIE CASE
Friday, November 21st, 2008 -- 11:30 am
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

A Jackson County Judge is recusing himself in the Douglas Sidie case.

Sidie faces 11 charges in connection with the murder of his wife, Alisha.

Jackson County Judge Thomas Lister will recuse himself because he represented Sidie in a 2002 personal injury civil lawsuit, which was dismissed.

A Judge from outside Jackson County will hear the case.

Investigators said Thursday a man inside Sidie’s Hatfield home proved critical in helping link him to the murder. After initially denying any knowledge of the incident, the man later told authorities he knew Alisha had been killed.

Sidie is held without bond.
