USH 10 BRIDGE ALMOST DONE
Thursday, October 9th, 2008 -- 11:53 am Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
A road construction project south of Marshfield is about to come to an end.
Despite rumors to the contrary, crews are expected to finish the USH 10 bridge over the Yellow River next week.
The project has taken much longer than expected due to some unexpected finds, including the pillars of a bridge constructed in 1900 and bedrock.
The official detour sent people well out of their ways—all the way down to STH 73.
A DOT official says the highway will likely be reopened sometime next week, barring bad weather.
