CLARK CO. FAIR MOVED BACK
Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 -- 2:06 pm
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

Next year’s Clark County Fair will be the 2nd week in August, afterall.

A couple weeks ago, the Fair Board decided to move the event to the 1st week of August to accommodate youth who wanted to attend the State Fair in West Allis, which is moving back a week next year.

But, the board heard concerns from groups, like the Neillsville Men’s Club. They schedule the Grandstand shows on Friday night and Sunday afternoon. The truck pull and demo derby are part of a circuit, and the move could have meant big problems.

The board decided to move the fair back to the traditional 2nd week of August at a meeting last night.
