PALIN HAS LOCAL ROOTS??

 A local newspaper reports Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin has some roots here.
The Stanley Republican reports Stanley native Al Brown has traced Sarah Palin's family history back to Stanley.
Brown says that when going through the Census of 1910 it was discovered that Sarah Palin's great great grandparents, Homer and Gussie Strong were living in Stanley.
Homer Strong passed away in 1916. He and his wife Gussie are buried in the Stanley Cemetery.
He also found Barack Obama is actually Sarah Palin's tenth cousin.
