SEX OFFENDER COULD LOCATE HERE

The Clark County Sheriff's Department is alerting the public that a registered sex offender is being released to our area.
40-year-old Troy Arp served a prison sentence for burglary during which Mr. Arp attempted to sexually assault an adult female stranger while armed with a knife. Other conviction behaviors include sexual assault of a prepubescent female.
The alert goes on to say Arp's criminal history reflects the potential to re-offend.
Arp had previously served his sentence and is eligible for release on August 19, 2008. However, he will remain in custody at the Clark County Jail pending his ability to find a residence.
He will be allowed to have four hours of supervised release per day to attempt to locate a suitable residence.
