DOYLE WANTS FAVRE TO STAY

During a stop in Neillsville Tuesday, Governor Doyle bragged about Wisconsin success in exporting products overseas lately. But, there's one thing he told reporters shouldn't be shipped out of state: Brett Favre.

"I'm like everybody. I'm so used to having number four as the quarterback, I'm looking forward to—after all this drama—for him to come out on the field and do what he's always done," Doyle said.

Doyle didn't seem to mind answering questions about the hottest topic in the state—if not the country.

He seemed genuinely sickened by the thought of Number Four going to the Vikings?

"I can't even process that in my mind," Doyle shook his head, "It would be impossible for me to imagine him ever coming out on the field in a Vikings' jersey."

Doyle also seemed confused that the Packers are so dead-set against letting him back on the team.

"It seems to me I always hear teams saying they really want to have two good quarterbacks, so, if we have two good quarterbacks, that would probably be good for us," Doyle reasoned, "Now that he clearly wants to play…he should play for the Green Bay Packers."
