You ever wonder what former state senator Dave Zien has been up to?
The Chippewa County Republican, now 58-years old, is doing what you might expect Dave Zien to be doing: a lot of motorcycle riding.
The Eau Claire Leader Telegram caught up with Zien for a weekend story. He now sports a long, gray beard.
Zien is getting close to logging the one million mile mark on his 1991 Harley. He only has around 30,738 miles to go.
This year alone, he rode to Daytona Beach, Fla., the Great Smoky Mountains, Houston and San Francisco.
Zien was sporting a t-shirt that proclaimed: "Jesus Would Have Rode a Harley."
