NEILLSVILLE MAN ARRESTED OVER CIGARETTE FIGHT

A 30-year-old Neillsville resident was arrested for domestic abuse after a dispute over a pack of cigarettes turned violent.
Neillsville police were called to the State Street apartment over the weekend after a 32-year-old woman reported being injured in the scuffle.
According to police records, the woman was injured when the man tried to pry her hands off a pack of cigarettes and eventually threw a phone at her.
She refused medical treatment, but the man was arrested on battery and bail jumping charges.
