MARSHFIELD COMPANIES HELPING WITH TALL BUILDING

If you have seen the pictures of a skyscraper under construction in the oil-rich city of Dubai, you know it's unlike any other building on Earth.
While its exact height is being kept secret, its believed to be a half-mile high. It can be seen up to 60 miles away.
Today's Marshfield News Herald notes some area companies have a roll to play in the project.
Marshfield DoorSystems and Felker Bros. are helping the developers on the project, slated for completion next fall.
Marshfield Door will begin shipping doors to the Middle East late this year. Felker Bros. already has shipped more than 10 thousand feet of pipe for the sprinkler system and drinking water applications throughout the skyscraper.
