Clark County's most popular beach is being closed after E. coli tests came back "sky high" this week.
Bonnie Flashinski with the Health Department says a routine test of the lake this week found elevated E. coli levels at Russell County Park in Hatfield.
The elevated bacteria levels are likely linked to the heavy rains we've been experiencing.
Another sample has already been obtained and the results should be back by Friday.
The beach closing doesn't affect other recreational activities on Lake Arbutus.
