KOHL ATTORNEY WORKING ON APPEAL

The rural Granton man convicted of sexually assaulting his twin neighbor girls is appealing.
A notice of intent to file for post conviction relief was entered on behalf of 59-year-old Stephen Kohl on April 30.
Kohl's attorney, Bridget Boyle says it's still too early to say what the grounds of appeal will be, but notes one likely point of contention will revolve around a judge's decision to allow alleged past victims of Mr. Kohl to testify.
Last month, Kohl was sentenced to at least 14 years behind bars. He could serve up to 30 years behind bars.
In January, a jury convicted Kohl of inappropriately touching two 8-year-old neighbor girls while they visited his children back in 1996.
