PAROLE DENIED FOR INDERBERG

A former Clark County Bar Association President and Neillsville City Attorney will not be getting out of prison anytime soon.

Trygve Inderberg was convicted in 2001 of charges he bilked elderly clients out of over $400,000.

He began serving an 18-year prison sentence in September of 2001, but seeing the offenses took place before Wisconsin's Truth In Sentencing law went into effect, he is eligible for parole.

His latest parole eligibility date is tomorrow, but Parole Commission officials confirmed today Inderberg's request for early release has already been denied and he will next be eligible for a hearing next January.

The Parole Commission considers six criteria, including: sufficient time served for offense, conduct in prison and risk to the public.

In this case, the Commission doesn't feel Inderberg has served enough of his sentence.

His mandatory release date is September 2013.
While he's been held out of state, in Waupun, Dodge and Red Granite, Inderberg currently resides at the Stanley Correctional Institute.
