OCEAN SPRAY EXPANDING IN RAPIDS

Ocean Spray is expanding in the Wisconsin Rapids area.
Company leaders have started hiring the first of about 100 new workers.
A company spokesman says the plant is being expanded in two phases, with the first phase expected to wrap up in September. Each phase is expected to create about 50 new jobs.
When construction is complete, the Wisconsin Rapids plant should be able to produce more than 30 million pounds of its sweetened dried cranberries.
