MEETING ON USH 13 PROJECT PLANNED

The Wisconsin DOT is planning an informational meeting concerning the upcoming Highway 13 project in Colby.
The project will include the south intersection of Highway N in Marathon County to just north of Wausau Street in the city of Colby. During construction, through traffic on Highway 13 will be detoured via Highway 153, Highway 97, and Highway 29. Local access will be maintained to residences and businesses.
The meeting is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 at the Colby City Hall.
Construction is expected to begin in spring 2009 and should be completed by fall 2009.
