HWY 13 REROUTE GETS MARSHFIELD'S BLESSING

It appears Hwy 13’s route between Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids will be going through some changes.
The Marshfield Board of Public Works voted to show their support for a plan to reroute Highway 13.
The board voted in favor of a DOT proposal that would reroute Highway 13 to run concurrent with highways 34 and 10 between Wisconsin Rapids and Marshfield.
Right now, Hwy 13 runs concurrent with Hwy 73 to near Pittsville before turning north to Marshfield. The abandoned stretch of Hwy 13 from west of Pittsville into Marshfield would become an extension of Highway 80.
