NEILLSVILLE MAN DIES IN ACCIDENT

A Neillsville man has died after apparently falling off the roof of his Grand Avenue home.
According to police reports, 52-year-old Kevin Opelt was on his roof at 211 Grand Avenue cleaning gutters just after 4 p.m. Sunday.
A witness said he heard a ladder fall over.
Emergency personnel responded and found him not breathing with no pulse.
He was transported to Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville and then taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield where he later died.
Foul play is not suspected.
