STATE REP ACCUSES HOUSEMATE OF STEALING MONEY

An area state representative says he'll wait until the police finish their investigation before commenting on a domestic situation that has prompted him to seek a restraining order against a former live-in girlfriend he accuses of stealing his money.
The woman in question, meanwhile, also says there's more to the story.
According to court documents, State Representative Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford) claims 32-year-old Lisa Brabazon was an "invitee" in his home from January 2007 through September 2007.
During that time, she was not authorized to access Suder's personal or financial information.
But, sometime in September, Suder says Brabazon gained access to credit cards and his checkbook. Suder claims the woman obtained $1,400 through the unauthorized use of his credit cards, and forged his name on checks, obtaining $1,800 from his bank accounts.
Sometime in late September, Suder kicked Brabazon out of the house and changed the locks.
Then, on the night of September 26 while Suder was not at home Brabazon broke into the house through a basement window severely cutting herself on the glass. Police reports indicate there was blood throughout Suder's home.
Colby-Abbotsford Police are still working on the case and plan to forward their finding to the Clark County District Attorney's office for possible prosecution. A hearing on the restraining order his scheduled for Monday, October 22nd at 3 p.m.
Rep. Suder told Central Wisconsin Broadcasting News this morning that he will wait until the police investigation is complete before he comments on the situation.
Ms. Brabazon also contacted us this morning. She said she and Scott had been romantically linked for nearly two years. She also said the incident stems from another investigation, but she did not want to comment until she discusses matters with her attorneys.
