SMOKING BAN WILL GO TO VOTERS IN MARSHFIELD

To smoke, or not to smoke, that will be the question in Marshfield in April.
According to the Marshfield NewsHerald, the Common Council voted last night to send an binding referendum to voters on the issue of a city-wide smoking ban.
The Council's vote was 8-2.
The smoking ban in front of voters in April will mirror a ban currently being considered at the state level, though it's been put on the backburner during budget negotiations.
