An incumbent Neillsville school board member had a cakewalk into the general election during yesterday’s primary.

With the top two vote-getters earning a spot on the April 5th ballot, Deanna Heiman easily outpaced her four challengers garnering 371 votes. Also earning a spot on the ballot was Stacie Boe-Campbell with 86 votes.

Rounding out the other five were Alan Hoesly with 81 votes, John Stalsberg with 70 and Jon Harris with 62.

So again, incumbent Neillsville school board member Deanna Heiman will be challenged by Stacie Boe-Campbell in the April 5th general election.

Meanwhile, voters in the Marshfield School District chose incumbents Stephen Schulte and Frances Bohon and challengers Bobbi Martens and Dennis Wessel to appear on the April 5 ballot. Schulte received the highest vote total at 1,034. Bohon received 803, Wessel received 680 votes and Martens received 506 votes.
