LOYAL SENIORS DO WELL ON ACT
Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006 -- 12:38 pm Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director
Loyal High School students had the highest composite scores in the area on a popular college entry exam. The statewide average ACT score was 22.2, a full point higher than the 21.1 national average, but the 27 Loyal seniors that took the test averaged 23.3. Of the four schools in our local area, Loyal was the only one that eclipsed the state average. Neillsville seniors averaged 21.6, Granton seniors averaged 21.1 and Greenwood seniors averaged 20.
