The Taylor County Sheriff’s Department announced Monday human skeletal remains found north of Medford have been positively identified as a missing Withee man.

The Owen Police Department recently requested the public’s help in finding 41-year-old Terrance Boushon. The man was last seen in May of last year and was reported missing in July 2005.

Last week, officials with the Owen Police Department, Clark County Sheriff’s Department and Taylor County Sheriff’s Department found human skeletal remains while searching a private property north of Medford.

According to a press release, Taylor County authorities transported the remains to Madison for forensic analysis and identification.

Investigators say they will make “every effort” to determine the circumstances that led to Boushon’s death.

They’re again asking for the public’s help. If you may have seen Terrance Boushon during the spring/summer of 2005 or after, or believe you have information that would contribute to this investigation, you’re asked to contact the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department at 748-2200, or the anonymous tipster line at 1-866-892-7463.
