-Three teenage girls were arrested after $4,000 of cocaine was discovered during a traffic stop.

The three girls, an 18-year-old from Argonne and two 15-year-olds, one from Port Edwards, the other from Black River Falls, were stopped for a driving complaint around 4pm near Tomahawk on Friday. The complaint said that the truck was speeding and nearly ran a driver off the road.

The officer detected the odor of marijuana and a drug sniffing dog was summoned. At that point 37 grams of cocaine was discovered. One of the 15-year-olds had the drugs hidden in her pants.

The 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute. The 15-year-olds were taken to a Juvenile Detention Facility.
