-We have some more information for you on the water situation in Neillsville.

The break occurred near West Second and Oak Streets and it did drain one of the city’s two water towers. The Neillsville School District was out of water by 3pm yesterday afternoon.

The break has been repaired and water has been restored to most of the city. The city is still under the Boil/Bottled Water Advisory until tests have been completed on the water to see if it was contaminated. The water is currently unfit for consumption.

Also, Grassland Dairy Products and Lynn Dairy are trucking in clean water to Memorial Medical Center for patient care. Also, Shopko in Neillsville is trucking in bottled water to MMC for patient use.

Memorial Medical Center extends the deepest thanks and appreciation to Grassland Dairy Products, Lynn Dairy and Shopko Hometown.
