-We have an update for you on the water situation and this comes from Neillsville Mayor Steve Mabie and Clark County Emergency Management Director, John Ross as of 5:36am this morning.

The leak which is causing the reduction/loss of water pressure to the customers served by the City of Neillsville’s water system is still unresolved. Crews continue working to locate the source in order to make necessary repairs. Residents are urged to avoid any unnecessary water usage and reduce usage where possible. Residents and businesses should monitor local media for updates on the water situation.

The Clark County Courthouse will be closed today due to the current situation as is the Neillsville School District.

Additional updates will be provided as they become available and the city thanks you for your patience and understanding in the matter.
